Former Minority leader of the Federal House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, met with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Friday, July 24.
This would be the second time Gbajabiamila would be meeting with Buhari.
Gbajabiamila, who was the preferred candidate of the leadership of the All Progressives Congress for the position of the Speaker, was beaten by Yakubu Dogara, who defied the party leadership to contest the election.
During the first meeting with the President, Gbajabiamila, took along 29 of his loyal colleagues, however, he went solo this time around.
After the meeting with Buhari, he failed to answer questions posed to him by journalists. He reportedly responded, saying that he was in a hurry “to see the Chairman”, Punch reports.
